ANDREWS UNIVERSITY

American English in one of the most prestigious universities in USA - Andrews University - the program entitled "Action America".

The university offers intensive English language programs, which are held at the university, in the heart of North America - Michigan state. What can be better than the conversational practice of English in an English speaking country and the chance to meet more than 3,000 students from 90 countries around the world?

Located near the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan, Andrews University lies in the midst of grape vineyards and apple, peach and cherry orchards. Lake Michigan, well-known for its white sandy beaches and small coastal towns, is one of the largest of America’s five Great Lakes. As an integral part of the program, "Action America" students will enjoy a variety of activities, both locally and in Chicago. The Art Institute of Chicago, the Shedd Aquarium, the Sears Tower - one of the highest buildings in the world - and the Field Museum of Natural History are some of Chicago’s greatest attractions. Those who enjoy the outdoors will find the area beaches, lakes and rivers excellent for swimming, canoeing, cook-outs and picnics. For those who wish to participate in sports, the Andrews campus is equipped with baseball, football and soccer fields, basketball, tennis and racquetball courts, and an Olympic-sized, indoor swimming pool. Students and teachers will attend local indoor and outdoor concerts, theater, and museums and will enjoy restaurants with foods from around the world.

The monthly program includes: 30 hours a week of intensive language instruction at a university and sightseeing in Chicago. The fee for a one-month session is $2400 per person. Those who wish to arrange for their own lodging and food will pay only $2000. The $2400 fee covers: Tuition, Lodging, Food, Transportation and entrance fees for all activities, Transportation to and from the South Bend, Indiana airport, Institutional TOEFL.
