The English Language Center offers courses on a term basis.
Each Level covers 14 weeks of classes (two terms).
The fee for one term (7 weeks) include: the cost of 14
usual classes, 7 grammar classes and the cost of books, including
audio tapes. Students registered for our courses have the opportunity to attend
all extra classes without payment, including the grammar classes of
other levels.
Different types of discounts become valid after one term
of studying in our center and when regestering for the following term. If a
student, who has studied for at least one term, brings friend to study at our
Center, that student will get a 10% discount. (to get the 10% discount,
students should take a special discount coupon and give it to the person who
they invited to study at our Center. In that case, the following term will cost
10% less, and the other discounts will be added to that one. The number of people
a student may bring is unlimited. All the discounts will be added up).
During the first seven working days of the term, a student
has the right to transfer to either a higher or lower level, if he is not satisfied
with the course, and may get a refund for the unattended classes. After this
period has passed, the administration of the Center does not make refunds.
At the end of each term, all students must pass the tests.
If the test is not passed, a student is not able to go to a higher level. If
4 or more classes are missed there is no transfer to the next level. (A student
is advised to repeat the level at a special discount of 31%).
To study successfully, a student must do the
following: listen to your teacher attentively, try to copy the teacher's
pronounciation, do all home assignments. During class the student
must not speak Russian (exceptions are levels OA and OB)!
At the end of the last level (4) all students must sit an
exam in the presense of native speaking teachers and the director of the Center.
If the exam is successfuly passed, a student gets the certificate
of our Center. If the student fails the exam, a certificate is not given.
